Join the Guitar Camp Experience with Kiko Loureiro – “In Studio”

2027

Studio Immersion

Two weekends in Helsinki, sold out, and more intense than I expected them to be.

So we're doing it again in 2027.

This isn’t a normal guitar camp. Just 15 guitarists, three days, and a professional studio — working alongside me on technique, improvisation, songwriting, and recording.

Last year, musicians who’d just met wrote songs in small groups, performed live for each other, and recorded an improvised solo for one collaborative track, produced start to finish in the room. The kind of thing most of them never thought they’d pull off.

Between sessions, we had lunch together, hung out, and just lived inside the studio for three days — less like a camp, more like being in a band.

Both weekends filled up almost immediately. I could only take 15 people each time, and I couldn’t fit in everyone who wanted a spot.

If you want to be in the room in 2027, this waiting list is how you get ahead of it before it fills again.

FAQ

What's the studio like?

A purpose-built, fully equipped professional facility, with an elite-level control room, tracking spaces, and outboard gear — the same standard used for real commercial recording work.

A private van collects the group each morning from a single pickup point in Helsinki and returns everyone to the same spot at the end of the day, for all three days of the event.

Guitars and instruments from Kiko’s own personal collection are made available during the sessions, along with full access to the studio’s equipment.

Each attendee records a take for one collaborative solo track, tracked in the studio with an experienced recording engineer running the session.

Lunch is provided each day, served on the studio’s patio with the Finnish countryside as the backdrop, and the catering carries real pedigree behind it. Snacks, fresh fruit, soft drinks, and coffee are also available throughout the day, with dedicated coffee breaks built into the schedule.

Yes — a certificate of attendance is issued at the close of the three days.

Are photos with Kiko included?

Kiko stays on-site with the group throughout the three days, joining sessions, breaks, and lunch alongside everyone else.
