With over 30 years of experience, Kiko Loureiro is widely recognized as one of the most influential and respected guitarists in contemporary music. He was a founding member of the iconic Brazilian band Angra, a global reference in melodic metal, and spent nearly a decade with the legendary band Megadeth, recording two studio albums and winning a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance with Dystopia.
Alongside his work with major bands, Kiko has also built a solid solo career, releasing critically acclaimed albums that showcase his musical identity with sophistication, technical mastery, and creative freedom — including No Gravity, Theory of Mind, Sounds of Innocence, and Open Source.
He has received numerous individual awards such as Best Guitarist from respected publications like Guitar Player, Young Guitar (Japan), and Burrn! Magazine, and has appeared in several international rankings of the greatest guitarists of the decade.
